In 1990, a man named John Romkey designed the world’s first IoT device- a toaster that could be turned on and off over the internet.

Since then, the world of IoT has exploded, and its momentum shows no signs of slowing down. (In fact, the recent pandemic has acted as a catalyst to speed up our transition to a more connected world.) For the first time, technology specifically developed for IoT is becoming available and will open new business opportunities for many companies. But why should you connect your products? What is the best way to start? Embarking on an IoT journey without a clear IoT strategy, willingness to adjust business processes or an understanding of the customer value can prove to be an expensive exercise.

Whether you have been connecting toasters to the internet for thirty years, or just found out what IoT actually stands for, this event caters to anyone with an interest in meeting and sharing knowledge with other industry experts and fans in Sweden.

The Stockholm IoT Gathering will take place at the Ericsson HQ in Stockholm. Sign up today to request your seat, and to receive updates on speakers, keynote topics, and information around the demos available to attendees.

By filling out this form you agree to share your information with Telenor Connexion AB and Ericsson AB for the purposes surrounding this event only. For any questions or concerns please reach out to the organizer of the event at [email protected]
