Today, December 22, Telenor Connexion announces Germany, Switzerland and Liechtenstein as the newest countries added to its IoT roaming portfolio, giving them access to guaranteed LTE-M functionality and full 24/7 IoT support.
In October this year, the global IoT provider Telenor Connexion announced its roaming agreements in the USA, the Netherlands and the Telenor networks in the Nordic countries; Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.
Telenor Connexion customers around the world, many of whom are global enterprises, already enjoy access to more than 500 networks and global LTE-M connectivity via 4G (LTE) networks. The new agreements, including the newly added countries; Germany Switzerland and Liechtenstein, will guarantee IoT specific LTE-M functionality and full 24/7 IoT support.
LTE-M is the preferred mobile IoT technology of Telenor Connexion and is recommended to its global customers in need of one point of contact for fleets of devices across the world. LTE-M is a LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Networks) technology, which means it is future proof, built on top of 4G network coverage, compatible with 5G and backed up by GSMA and telecom standards.
Telenor Connexion continues to actively work together with its roaming partners to provide the best coverage for their customers and will keep on adding new countries to its LTE-M roaming portfolio during 2021 and beyond.
