Telenor IoT will present their new IoT Test Lab in which globally deployable technologies can be tested, and hence solutions that can be provided to a global market.
The new Telenor Connexion IoT Test Lab is not only a test facility, but one that can offer multiple international roaming operators with automated and controlled signal conditions across 2G, 3G, LTE (CAT-M and NB-IoT), and now 5G.
Typical test scenarios that our customers can verify in the Telenor IoT Test facility are:
- Basic functionality and signaling testing
- Handover tests between technologies/RAT and operators
- Back off test (Data)
- Low coverage test
- BTS/nodeB power loss and return test

Meet the speakers
As a Product Manager at Telenor IoT Jonas Karlsson is focusing on bringing new network technologies to the customers. Jonas started his telecom journey at Ericsson 27 years ago but has spent the last 22 years on the operator side working in different roles at Europolitan/Vodafone/Telenor. First on the technical side as a Technical Product manager then spent several years meeting the customer as Solution Design. The last 7 years he has worked as a Product Manager at Telenor Sweden and Telenor IoT.
