Stockholm, Sweden, October 8, 2026 – Telenor Connexion, the company behind the Telenor IoT brand, today announces changes to its board of directors and executive leadership team following the strategic partnership between Telenor Group and Verdane. The appointments mark an important first step in the company’s next phase: focused on accelerating global growth through organic development, innovation, and value-creating M&A.
The new board brings together deep industrial experience, proven technology-scaling capabilities, and continued owner commitment. Pekka Lundmark, former President and CEO of Nokia and former leader of industrial companies including Fortum and Konecranes, will serve as independent Chair. Ingrid Wistrand joins the board bringing extensive industrial IoT expertise, including experience as co-founder and former CEO of Tele2 IoT and COO of Deutsche Telekom IoT, as well as eHealth experience from Cambio. Morten Weicher joins as board member representing Verdane, bringing the firm’s experience in M&A, active ownership and scaling technology companies internationally.
Dan Ouchterlony, Tom Hvammen and Liv Ingeborg Blekkerud will continue as responsible from Telenor Corporate Development, providing continuity. Telenor Connexion will continue to leverage Telenor’s industrial platform, including relationships, network access and expertise in telecom, security and AI.
Telenor Connexion also announces the appointment of Jesper Bruksner as Chief HR Officer. Jesper brings experience from scaling global technology companies, including leadership experience from companies such as Klarna and Kry, and will play a key role in supporting the company’s growth journey, organizational development and ability to attract and develop talent globally.
